TRAINING

Why fast Forward?
Fast Forward's training is participative, stimulating and we use a variety of interactive exercises to promote learning. We encourage and value your input as a participant, promote a relaxed atmosphere and ensure your training experience is both informative and enjoyable.

Fast Forward offers an extensive range of training on a wide range of issues concerning young people.

Types of training offered include:
1. Young people's training
2. Customised training

1. Young people's training
We are able to deliver drug, alcohol, tobacco or peer education skills sessions directly to young people, in conjunction with training for their key workers, teachers or parents as part of a capacity building programme.

We offer:
Peer Led workshops on:
bullet Drug awareness
bullet Alcohol awareness
bullet Tobacco awareness

2. Customised training
What it is: Fast Forward offers bespoke, tailor-made course packages to cater more comprehensively for organisations' specific training needs.

What it offers: Customised packages take account of your organisation's training requirements through individual needs assessment. This type of training is designed to build capacity within your organisation by increasing staff knowledge and skills and providing practical implementation ideas.

Examples: In the past training courses have been commissioned by the Boys and Girls Club Scotland, Argyll and Clyde Health Board and City of Edinburgh Education Department, Strathclyde Police, as well as other Health Boards and local authorities.
