Volunteer in Theatre

We're just launching a new project called 'Fast Forward and Play' and we're looking for volunteers aged 16-25 to act in and/or help run a theatre production.

When: Last two weeks of October

Where: Various locations in Edinburgh

What: Volunteers will learn about different issues that young people face today, such as tobacco, drugs, alcohol, legal highs, knife crime, and gambling. They will then help to bring this to life in short practice sessions by creating characters, scenarios and scenes. Eventually they will help to write a play, working with a professional director and writer, and produce it with other young people as the audience in schools or youth groups.

Want to get involved in some theatre work? Want to help educate your peers about youth issues? Want to have a whole lot of fun?

Then get in touch with Kai Peacock at kai@fastforward.org.uk.

We look forward to hearing from you!
