No Knives Better Lives Peer Educators ready to spread the word in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde!
A group of peer educators from Renfrewshire and Inverclyde have now completed their peer education training and are ready to spread the word of the No Knives Better Lives campaign in their local areas. The training programme, which included an overnight residential, saw the two areas come together to engage in an interactive training programme, discussing how their communities are affected by issues of knife crime and violence and how they can play a role in helping empower them from within.
Fed up with the perception that all young people are out to cause trouble, this group have decided to make a real difference demonstrating enthusiasm and dedication throughout the training. This programme forms a part of the ongoing campaign No Knives Better Lives already plays in these two areas, building upon the active role these young people are currently undertaking in their communities.
